One Horse At A Time, Inc.
One Horse At a Time is in pursuit of the well being of all horses. Every year there are over 100,000 horses that suffer terribly through neglect and abandonment, abuse that goes unchecked or suffer the ultimate indignity and pain of being shipped to slaughter houses in Mexico and Canada. Because horses are so expensive to care for and because of the bad economic times we are now experiencing we expect the numbers to far surpass 100,000 this coming year. And, although the number of horses requiring assistance can be overwhelming, there are many small rescue organizations working hand and hand to helping horses one at a time. We are one such rescue. Please join us in the journey.

PaddleStone Equestrian Center Rescue and Foster
Every year PSEC opens it doors to several horses and ponies that are in desperate need of nutritional care as well as love and attention. A majority of the horses we take in are severely underweight, or have career ending injuries. A few were given to the facility by owners who got in over their heads and are trying to do the right thing by giving the horse to people who can care for it properly.
