Puppies And Kittens, And Horses, Oh My!: MMSC Participates in Horse Park's All-Animal Adoption Day

On August 31, the Maker's Mark Secretariat Center took part in the Kentucky Horse Park's multi-species animal Adoption Day. The Center joined area humane societies on the lawn between the Horse Park's visitor center and the International Museum of the Horse to distribute flyers about its available adoptable Thoroughbreds. The Center also sponsored horse van rides from the visitors center to the Secretariat Center for interactive demonstrations on grooming and racing equipment. The day also resulted in two applications being taken out for trainees Lucky Bid and Ten Something.
