PY Twenty Wins His First Blue Ribbon

Terron and David Phillips adopted PY Twenty last fall and the Maker's Mark Secretariat Center got a LOVELY emily from them stating PY Twenty went to his very first horse show and brought home a blue ribbon! Here is what she had to say:

bluff_headshot.jpg"My husband and I adopted PY Twenty in December of 2008. We live on the East coast of Florida and PY is stabled along with my previous OTTB, Virga. On June 27, 2009 PY was entered in his first horse show with me. He was amazing! He won a ribbon in every class in which he was entered-including a BLUE for walk/trot under saddle! He also won: a second place for walk/trot equitation (sorry PY, rider at fault for this class, after all it was equitation-he did his job LOL), a third in grooming and conditioning and a fourth in Sport Horse in hand-which is a tough class especially since he has never done anything like this before! I received so many comments on the ''beautiful new thoroughbred'' that I lost track! I was so very proud of him! Both of my OTTB's are outstanding partners and with the right training and encouragement they will give their all for you. I applaud the work that The Secretariat Center does and encourage anyone looking for a new horse to  consider adopting one of theses amazing friends."-Terron Phillips, Florida
