Louie

Louie is a 16.2, 10 year old, gelding. He is currently ridden
english and goes on trail rides.  He had been shown a few years ago and
did very well.  The previous owner jumped him over 3' fences last, we
jumped him a couple times only to see how he'd do and he did well.
Because he has an occasional light limp in front right leg I don't jump
him and don't think he should be jumped to keep his body healthy, though
on a trail I'm sure he would be fine needing to get over a log or two.
He enjoys working and is easy to saddle and takes his bridle nice.  He
does need an experienced rider and he does know a lot.  He does get long
lined and lunged once a week to keep up exercise. 

Louie has been turned out with differents horse and there have
been no problems, he is not an agressive horse.  He definately likes to
go in his stall for the night but i have had him stay outside if its too
hot and as long as theres another horse and lots of hay he's okay.
He's good on the cross ties and doesn't mind being clipped.  He's good
at bathing as long as he's om cross ties.  Grooming is easy, he's gentle
with his feet and aslo easy to trim and shoe.  He has had some
chiroprator work done so he's oksy with that too.  He's used to being
blanketed in the winter and is not a blanket ripper.   He knows his name
and will bond with he person who spends the most time with him but
welcomes new human friends.
